Dr. Gabor B. Szabo, a member of the Budapest Bar Association, is a legal practitioner with professional experience in the United States, United Kingdom and Italy. He specialises in corporate law, international tax planning, offshore fiduciary and management and also advises on foreign collaborations, joint ventures and acquisitions in Hungary. Before starting his own practice in 1992 he worked as legal expert in the Ministry of (Foreign) Trade and participated in several double tax and investment protection treaty negotiations. He runs a law firm with four partners which collaborates with numerous international professionals and also member of the International Tax Planning Association (ITPA), Professional Fiduciary Group (PFG), Hungarian-British Law Association, WIRAS Verbund and Netherlands-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce (NHCC). He is also regular speaker of international tax planning conferences and - being regular correspondent - member of the International Bureau of "Offshore Investment", the leading magazine of offshore professionals.
